ADRENALINE JUNKIE DOGS FOR YOUR NEXT SKI TRIP

As we all know, not all breeds of dogs are comfortable with heavy athletic stuff. Some of them are not made for the cold or extreme weather. Here is some of the dogs you might be able to spot or need when going to a cold weather area.

Tibetan Mastiff

This breed was once isolated in the Himalayas, are comfortable in both cold and warm temperatures. They have an immense double coat that keeps them insulated during the cold weather.

Siberian Husky

The Husky is another breed that is used for dog sledding. You might have seen the movie “Eight Below” they are the main stars of that show.

Samoyed

Who says they do not want to wake up the cute Samoyed smiles every day? They look quite similar to “Ghost”, which is Jon Snow’s pet in Game of Thrones. These playful, yet gentle dogs are perfect as companions, but need plenty of physical and mental exercise. The Samoyed, from Siberia, was originally bred for herding reindeer, hunting, and hauling sledges.

Saint Bernard

We all know the movie called Beethoven, right? Guess what that adorable dog is called a Saint Bernard. Not all Saint Bernards cause so much disaster, but they are really that big running about 120 to 200 pounds. Saint Bernards have low energy and aren't necessarily super playful, but they make up for it with affection and willingness to work the muscular dogs will trek for miles through deep snow to search for lost travelers. That is why they are considered as reliable mountain dogs.
