Every one of us grew up with our childhood shows and of course there will always be shows that will remain a classic for all the pet lovers out there. Here are some list of the different types of shows which incorporated cats and are still quite famous even until today for those kids born in the early 20th century.
Pixie and Dixie and Mr. Jinks (1958-1961)
This show was known for its famous line “I hates those meeces to pieces!” This show was all about a cat who was always outfoxed by the 2 mice.
Garfield and Friends (1988-1994)
This famous cat is known by many as the fat, lazy, sarcastic orange tabby, who wants nothing more out of life than to eat and sleep. He has a love and addiction for consuming lasagna, enjoys tormenting Odie and trying to mail Nermal, his rival tabby, to Abu Dhabi.
Tom and Jerry
Of course, we cannot forget this other classic show. Wherein Tom would always be in trouble because of Jerry and this daily job was to chase after him. But did you know, Tom and Jerry have become best friends throughout the show and the only reason why Tom chases Jerry around is to prevent the owner from kicking Tom out to get a new cat which might endanger Jerry’s life. Talk about this shocking revelation!
The Sylvester & Tweety Mysteries (1995-2002)
No one can forget the famous line of Tweety saying his signature lines "I tawt I taw a puddy tat!" and "I did! I did taw a puddy tat!" The show follows Looney Tunes characters Sylvester and Tweety, and their owner Granny, as they solved mysteries, even with Sylvester still trying to eat Tweety in the middle of solving the mysteries, but Hector acted as a bodyguard for Tweety, and would even beat Sylvester up.
